6 lbs chopped and peeled apples
Place into a large stockpot. Toss with 2 Tbsp lemon juice.
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Mix well in a small bowl and pour over apples. Mix well to coat.
Let sit for 30 minutes - until juices flow.
Cook over medium heat until thick.
Cool for no more than 2 hours.
Pour into freezer containers and freeze.

Works well for pies, crisps, cobblers, or coffee cakes!
