Bacon Cheddar Biscuits

These little gems are the perfect side with a huge pot of homemade soup!

2 cups flour

1 Tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

3 tsp baking powder


Mix dry ingredients well.


Add

1/2 cup shredded cheddar

1/4 cup real bacon bits


Cut in

1/4 cup butter, margarine or shortening


Stir in

1 cup milk


Drop onto greased baking sheet and bake at 450 until golden brown on the edges.


Brush with melted butter. Place back in oven for 3 minutes.


Serve hot.
